Estimation of Sea Level Rise on the West African Coasts: Case of Senegal, Mauritania and Cape Verde

The advent of technology in the world has led to enormous, varying economic and social changes. Those changes have influenced climate balance, which leads global temperature rise, hence oceanic expansion melting glaciers. These various phenomena caused variation mean sea level. Thus, this study we evaluated that from instrumental recordings tide gauges available region, us choose Dakar (Senegal), Nouakchott (Mauritania) Palmeira (Cape Verde). analysis tidal series began with test presence or absence significant trends using Man-Kendall method followed by decomposition these SSA, ARIMA SLT techniques, would result trend, seasonality residues. results show a 1.52 mm/year, 4.51 mm/year 20.08 respectively for Dakar, gauges.
